Overview

Gmail connects a selected Google account to the application workflow in AplikAI. When an opportunity supports Gmail Application and the required company contact is available, you can send the application from your own Gmail address using the job, résumé or résumé file, cover letter, and recruitment consent context already stored in your workspace.

The sent message remains attached to the relevant job and application history. This keeps supported recruiter replies, follow-up activity, application assets, contact details, and previous communication together, so you do not have to reconstruct the context from a separate inbox.

You stay in control of the Google account used for sending and the materials included in each application. Gmail Application is one supported application method inside AplikAI. It does not submit applications to every external ATS or replace other application paths.

How It Works

First, connect a Google account in AplikAI and authorize the permissions required for supported Gmail sending and message synchronization. If you have more than one connected account, you can select the Sending Account used by a board or application workflow.

When you prepare a Gmail Application, AplikAI brings together the recipient or available company contact, the relevant job, your selected résumé or résumé file, cover letter, and the recruitment consent snapshot connected to the application. You can review the application context before the message is sent through the selected Gmail account.

After sending, the message remains connected to the job and application history. Supported replies can be surfaced inside the application workflow, while follow-up messages and their status remain tied to the same opportunity instead of becoming separate inbox tasks.

If the Google authorization expires or the account requires attention, AplikAI asks you to reconnect it before Gmail-dependent actions continue. Once the connection is restored, the supported workflow can continue without losing the job, documents, or previous application context.
